The opportunity
Network Control is offering an internship within Customer Experience at our Västerås office. You will work with a large-scale, mission-critical software system that helps customers monitor and operate electrical power grids.
The product is a high-performance SCADA system with strict requirements for reliability, security, and maintainability. You will contribute to both new development and long-term product evolution, working closely with developers, architects, testers, and product owners in an agile environment.
This is a 10 month long internship intended for university students who are interested in complex systems, understanding end-to-end processes, and taking initiative in a collaborative environment.
How you’ll make an impact
- Create AI agents according to an agreed backlog.
- Test agents together with pilot users.
- Document the agents and train engineers on how to use them effectively.
- Work with customer cases to reproduce issues.
- Test software kits in cooperation with the QA team.
- Support DevOps activities, including installations.
Your background
- Ongoing university studies in Automation, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience testing Network Manager SCADA.
- Good knowledge of software installations and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, energy systems, or other real-time industrial software is an advantage.
- Strong focus on quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.
